Just 15 minutes from the beaches, the wooden chalet "L'Artzamendi" is located on the edge of the Bayonne-Anglet-Biarritz conurbation and is the starting point for hikes into the Basque Country or, via the A63 motorway, towards Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye, or Spain, 35 km away.


L'Artzamendi is built on a treetop terrace, nestled in the heart of a forest, within the tranquility of a property spanning over 2 hectares of mature oak and chestnut trees. The terrace offers a treetop experience, reaching a height of 8 meters. A change of scenery, restful, rejuvenating... Simple yet maximum comfort for 2 adults (+ 2 children under 10): 1 bedroom for 2 people plus a sofa bed in the living room, 1 kitchenette and a bathroom with a beautiful walk-in shower, washing machine, refrigerator, electric hob, digital terrestrial television, free Wi-Fi... These wooden chalets and the owners' house are nestled on a small hill. The property is very well protected from prevailing winds and potential storms. The property is fenced, with secure parking. You'll enjoy the coolness of the forest in the evening during walks after your long days of exploring, and also for a good night's sleep. Peace and quiet are paramount at Cobadena-Borda. Complete privacy. The forest animals are your only witnesses.


A unique and friendly welcome has been highly appreciated since 2009, as evidenced by the reviews and ratings. The middle chalet is now intended for the reception chalet, to welcome, inform, discuss, advise, but also for the organization of any aperitifs or shared meals... Conviviality always. Calm will be systematically and continuously maintained in this reception chalet so as not to disturb anyone.

No rental of sheets or towels. On your departure, we ask you to leave the chalet in the same state of cleanliness as you found it. You will take care to leave with your garbage cans, containers exist at the end of the street for this purpose.
In case you wish to leave without doing the minimum cleaning, a participation of 40€ will be required, thank you for your participation and understanding.
Between 2 clients, we logically check the maximum cleanliness everywhere, but above all, we completely disinfect the entire apartment.

General terms and conditions of rental

Arrival
Arrivals are from 6 p.m., please respect this schedule because we systematically disinfect the chalets between two different customers, so we need this minimum time to guarantee you a good welcome. You will clean before leaving, as you found it on arrival, thank you in advance.
Departure
Departures are at 10 a.m. maximum, please respect this time because we systematically check the cleanliness of the chalets between two different customers, so we need this minimum time to guarantee the good welcome to the following customers.

Cancellation/Prepayment/Deposit
As indicated on our personal website, 30% deposit on booking and the balance (70%) 1 month before your arrival.
Free cancellation up to 14 days before the arrival date
Accepted payment methods

You contact us, you guarantee us your reservation request with your full contact details as well as your acceptance of the payment and operating methods, we send you our bank details, you make your transfers in two installments (or in full depending on the time remains), upon receipt of your first transfer, we will send you an estimate paid for the deposit and after receipt of your second and last transfer, we will send you your fully paid invoice. Everything is done honestly, clearly and with confidence at the Cobadena-Borda chalets... Only friends!
Cleaning
